Back on Friday, North Carolina State released their non-conference schedule. This went largely unnoticed by most of the basketball universe, because most non-conference schedules are pointless unless you're a fan of that team. But last night, Patrick Marshall from White & Blue Review pointed me towards the press release, and, well, it had something quite interesting.

Indiana Pacers to wear 'Hoosiers' uniforms to celebrate movie's 30th anniversary -

Look out, Los Angeles (Lakers and Clippers): The Indiana Pacers are going Hollywood next season. The NBA team announced Tuesday that the Pacers will wear maroon and gold uniforms worn by the Hickory Huskers in the 1986 movie "Hoosiers" during select 2015-16 games. Indiana star George Hill modeled the new jerseys produced in partnership with Metro-Goldwin-Mayer Studios.

Linda Sayavongchanh Hired as Women's Basketball Assistant Coach -

Creighton University head women's basketball coach Jim Flanery announced the hiring of Linda Sayavongchanh as a Bluejays assistant coach on Tuesday, July 20. An eight-year coaching veteran Sayavongchanh comes to Creighton after spending the last two seasons on the sidelines for the Saint Louis Billikens. She has also spent time on the bench for North Dakota (2012-13), Drake (2009-12) and begin her career as a graduate assistant for the University of Minnesota Duluth (2007-09).
