As soon as it was announced that Spike Lee would be writing NNBA 2K16's story mode, everyone wondered if the mode would be similar to Lee's film, "He Got Game". So far, it sure sounds like it.
Operation Sports is reporting that 2K has a licensing deal in place with (at least) 11 schools. Included on that list? Villanova and Georgetown.
It will be interesting to see, if this comes to fruition, how much the schools are featured. There's currently a lawsuit going on between the NCAA and EA Sports over video game likenesses, so 2K will certainly have to approach things carefully.
