Xavier draws Alabama in the Orlando Classic; Butler faces Missouri State in the Puerto Rico Shootout

CBS Sports has released the first-round matchups in both the 2015 Puerto Rico Shootout and the 2015 Orlando Classic, with the Big East represented in both early-season tournaments.

Butler will face Missouri State in the first round of the Puerto Rico Shootout on Nov. 19. The winner will take on the victor between Minnesota and Temple. Mississippi State, featuring new coach Ben Howland and incoming freshman Malik Newman, and Miami headline the first-round bouts. The championship game is scheduled for Nov. 22.

Xavier will meet Alabama in the Orlando Classic on Nov. 26. The winner faces the winner of Wichita State-USC. The championship game will be played on Nov. 29.

Exact times for both series have yet to be set.
