On a day in which Jayson Tatum (#2 on ESPN's 2016 Top 100) announced he was going to be attending Duke, Kobi Simmons, the sixth-ranked player on the Top 100 cut his list to six schools.
Scout's Evan Daniels had the news first.

As Daniels points out, Simmons has a visit to Xavier set for September 4.
Providence also had interest in the Alpharetta, Georgia point guard, but they did not make his final six.
