Vegas Summer League Big East Recap: Day 1 & 2

The Big East has a ton of alums in the Vegas Summer League, but one has shone brighter than all the rest through the first two days.

It's July, so the NBA Summer League is in full swing. After the Orlando portion concluded late last week, it was time for Vegas to begin. Vegas has considerably more ex-Big East players, as luck would have it, here is how they did through the first two days. Most players have only played one game, but a few have played two. Games played will be noted.

Bryce Cotton (Utah Jazz): 28.0 PPG, 5.0 RPG, 4.0 APG (one game)

Doug McDermott (Chicago Bulls): 20.0 PPG, 5.0 RPG 1.0 APG (one game)

Fuquan Edwin (New Orleans Pelicans): 15.0 PPG, 2.0 RPG, 0.5 APG (two games)

Vander Blue (Chicago Bulls): 9.0 PPG, 2.0 RPG, 3.0 APG (one game)

JaKarr Sampson (Philadelphia 76ers): 9.0 PPG, 4.0 RPG, 1.0 APG (one game)

Ricky Ledo (New York Knicks): 8.0 PPG, 2.0 APG (one game)

LaDontae Henton (Golden State Warriors): 6.0 PPG, 2.0 RPG, 2.0 APG (one game)

Joshua Smith (Miami Heat): 5.0 PPG, 5.0 RPG (one game)

Sir'Dominic Pointer (Cleveland Cavaliers) 3.5 PPG, 3.0 RPG, 1.0 APG, 2.0 BPG (two games)
