While the NBA Draft is in a matter of weeks, we're often reminded that "The Association" isn't the eventual home for everybody.
Former Creighton Bluejays center Will Artino is the next of many who have decided to roll the dice overseas. The 6-foot-11, 230-pounder is going to be participating in the Italian Basketball Federation's upcoming training camp.
The news was announced on Artino's Twitter account early Tuesday morning.
Artino, a native of Waukee, Iowa, played 135 games for the Jays during his four-year stay. He finished his career with a FG% of 61.5 percent, averaging 4.6 points, 3.1 rebounds, and 0.3 blocks per game. His career-high in points came in a win against Chicago State in the 2014-15 season in which he dropped 20 points whilst shooting 7-for-12 from the field.
Best of luck to Artino in whatever comes next!
