UConn released their 2015-16 nonconference schedule today.

I know what you're thinking, "UConn took their ball and went home, why is this on a Big East site?" Well. Take a look at the matchup set for January 23, 2016.

UCONN. GEORGETOWN. THE RIVALRY IS BACK!

This is the 65th meeting between the schools. 58 of the previous meetings were when both schools were members of the Big East.

The interesting thing is that this game is going to be played at the XL Center in Hartford, as opposed to being played in Storrs or Washington, DC. So it's not exactly known right now if this game will be an annual event going forward.

Georgetown now has games against Maryland, Syracuse, and UConn this season. That's pretty good.
