DePaul snags 3-star guard Devin Gage

Dave Leitao is targeting the Chicago Public League with his latest commit, 2016 3-star guard Devin Gage.

The 6-foot-2 point guard is DePaul's first commitment of 2015, choosing the Blue Demons over Bradley, UIC and Toledo. The athletic guard has good playmaker skills and attacking the rim, and should develop into a decent shooter. He averaged 17.6 points, 5.3 assists, 4.2 rebounds and 2.3 steals per game in his junior season at Curie High School.

Leitao is making inroads in the Chicago area already, something the Blue Demons struggled with under Oliver Purnell. DePaul landed Simeon forward Frederick Scott for the upcoming season.
