Creighton Bluejays forward Leon Gilmore leaving the program

Per the Omaha World-Herald, the talented forward intends to flee CU.

Rising sophomore forward Leon Gilmore III intends to leave Creighton University.

Steve Pivovar of the Omaha World-Herald is reporting the news that the former three-star recruit from Manvel, Texas will be transferring. According to Pivovar, Gilmore is seeking more playing time.

As a freshman on the Bluejays, Leon averaged 4.9 minutes, 1.1 points, 1.1 rebounds and 0.4 assists per game.
