DePaul head coach Dave Leitao's staff is starting to take shape as Scout's Brian Snow reports that Leitao has hired Xavier assistant Rick Carter to the same role with DePaul.
Carter previously worked with Leitao at Missouri under Frank Haith where he helped the school develop players like Phil Pressey and Alex Oriakhi and played a big role in recruiting now-NBA players Jabari Brown and Jordan Clarkson.
According to his bio on Xavier's website, Carter primarily focuses on recruiting Michigan, Ohio, Wisconsin, Minnesota, and Missouri.
He is also only 35 years old.
Carter joins Billy Garrett, Sr. as Leitao's staff thus far. He'll probably look to add one more coach.
