Villanova, 610 WTEL Radio announce multi-year agreement

The Wildcats will remain with its multimedia partner for the foreseeable future.

On Tuesday afternoon, Villanova Athletics and 610 WTEL Radio announced a multi-year agreement that will keep the Wildcats on the premier Philadelphia radio station for the foreseeable future.

Per a press release from the university's athletics website, the agreement commences this upcoming season during football and men's basketball. In addition, per the release, the programs "Talking Villanova Football with Adam Talley" and "Talking Villanova Basketball with Jay Wright" will continue as well.

Villanova Reaches Multi-Year Agreement with 610 WTEL Radio

Station to air all Wildcats' football and men's basketball games beginning in 2015-16

VILLANOVA, Pa. - Villanova and IMG College, the University's multi-media rights partner, today announced an agreement with 610 Sports WTEL-AM, a Beasley Media Group radio station in Philadelphia, granting the station exclusive radio rights to Wildcats' football and men's basketball programming. This multi-year agreement begins with the 2015-16 football and men's basketball seasons.

As part of the new agreement, every Villanova regular season football and men's basketball game will air exclusively on 610 Sports WTEL-AM in the Philadelphia listening area. In addition, 610 Sports WTEL will also carry the "Talking Villanova Football with Andy Talley" and "Talking Villanova Basketball with Jay Wright" programs during the course of those respective seasons.
