Chris Holtmann and Butler have agreed on an extension through 2021, Michael Pointer of the Indianapolis Star reports.
Holtmann had been in talks with Tennessee in regards to their vacant coaching position, but it seems as if he never wanted to leave Butler.
Holtmann was the Big East's lowest paid coach last season after taking over for Brandon Miller in January. Contract details were not released in January, nor were they yet Monday, but it seems as if Holtmann is in line for a big raise.
The school has made the announcement official with a press release.
