Since the news of Oliver Purnell's resignation, Big East Coast Bias has been ripe with thought on who is going to be DePaul's next head coach.

Ben Howland is out of the mix, as he's departed for Starkvegas, having agreed to become Mississippi State's newest men's basketball coach. But there's plenty more fish in the sea and Friday night, DePaul seemed to grab that.

According to WeAreDePaul.com, Bobby Hurley and Bryce Drew are in line for interviews this coming week for the vacancy. Hurley and Drew are both the current head coaches for the Buffalo Bulls and Valparaiso Crusaders respectively.

Also coming from the site is the news that former Utah Jazz head coach and advisor for the Sacramento Kings Tyrone Corbin is not a candidate for the job. Corbin's name was tossed into the hat not only for his coaching prowess, but by and large because DePaul is his alma mater.
