Marquette vs (25) Providence: Halftime Notes

The Big East's lone game today has been exciting, as Providence leads 40-29.

  • The Eagles came out of the gates very hot, hitting eight of their first 10 shots
  • They leveled off in the final 10 minutes of the half, though, to get this game to where it is right now.
  • Duane Wilson leads the team in scoring, but he also has three fouls

  • The Big East Player of the Year tandem of Kris Dunn and LaDontae Henton have been brilliant today: A combined 15 points, 11 rebounds, and seven assists.
  • Providence's best player today, perhaps, has been Tyler Harris, though. 11 points on 4-6 shooting and three rebounds.
  • Providence has gotten 10 points off of seven Marquette turnovers, so the Friars are certainly making the Golden Eagles pay for their mistakes.
