David Caraher, a three-star Class of 2017 small forward from Chapel Hill, North Carolina, made a verbal commitment to Butler University on Tuesday night.
Future150 was one of the first to announce Caraher's commitment on Twitter:

Caraher is 6-foot-5, 195 lbs. and had previously held offers from Appalachian State, Charlotte, and Radford.
"Butler is just a great place to be," Caraher told Big East Coast Bias' Robert O'Neill in an interview shortly after Caraher announced his commitment. "The team was like one family and the coaches were really great and spectacular."
Hinkle Fieldhouse, where the Bulldogs call home, is one of the premier venues not only in the Big East, in the realm of college basketball. The Chapel Hill native seemed to agree with this juncture, as well.
"Hinkle is one of a kind," Caraher said. "And I loved the environment."
As for what his plans will be for this summer, Caraher intends on playing on the EYBL Circuit with Team United.
