The St. John's Red Storm (5-3) look to remain unbeaten in the borough of Queens on Wednesday night when they welcome the Niagara Purple Eagles (3-6) to Carnesecca Arena. This marks the third borough that the Red Storm have played in their last three contests, having played in The Bronx and Manhattan in their last two contests.
These two will meet for the second consecutive year with things looking a wee bit different this time around to say the least. You know by now: St. John's lost a multitude of players and has a brand new head coach but Niagara returns quite a lot of players who may be familiar with the environment they'll be playing in on Wednesday evening.
A win would mark the fourth year in a row that the Johnnies have started a season 6-3 or better and give the youthful Red Storm some confidence before their upcoming contest against former BIG EAST rival Syracuse this Sunday at Madison Square Garden.
