2015 Garden State Hardwood Classic, Seton Hall vs. Rutgers: Halftime Notes

Seton Hall and Rutgers traded advantages in the first half, but it's the Pirates who are on top after the first 20 minutes.

~ After a slow start, Seton Hall has dominated Rutgers in the latter portion of the first half as they take a 47-34 lead into the break. The Hall made four of their last five field goal attempts to close out the first half while Rutgers missed on their last four of five field goal attempts, as well as seven of their last nine.

~ At the break, Khadeen Carrington and Angel Delgado have scored a combined 21 points. Carrington leads with 11 while the reigning BIG EAST Rookie of the Year Delgado has 10 points as well as six rebounds.

~ The lead changed five times in the first half and both teams were tied four times. Seton Hall spent 9:57 in the lead while Rutgers was ahead for 7:05.

~ SHU is outrebounding RU 22-14, 13-11 defensively and 9-3 offensively. They also lead in second chance points 6-4, bench points 17-6 and points in the paint 28-14.

~ The Hall scored 1.205 points per possession and Rutgers scored only 0.895 points per possession in the first half.
