Xavier's Edmond Sumner named BIG EAST Freshman of the Week

For the second straight week, Xavier Musketeers freshman guard Edmond sumner is the BIG EAST Freshman of the Week.

Sumner scored a game-high 21 points and tied for a game-high with nine rebounds in Xavier's 78-70 win over Wake Forest.

This season, Sumner is averaging 11.7 points per game for the 12-0 Musketeers.
