3 Storylines

1) First true road test for Seton Hall

The Pirates have played three home games and three neutral site games to this point in the season. This will be their first true road game and it is not easy by any stretch of the imagination. George Washington has already defeated a top-10 Virginia team and always plays well defensively at home. The Pirates, in the past, have struggled on the road and were blown out twice during the nonconference schedule away from The Rock last season. This will be a good test against an Atlantic 10 team that is looking to finish at the top of their conference.

2) Colonials want revenge

Seton Hall edged out GW 58-54 in Newark last season after it looked like the Colonials were going to find a way to comeback. This turned out to be one of Seton Hall's most impressive wins of the season and the Colonials would like nothing more than to return the favor. It is also worth noting that Jaren Sina is now a member of the team after leaving Seton Hall last season. He cannot play because of ineligibility, but his presence could have a slight impact on this one.

3) Pirates need to keep the ball

The Hall are averaging 14.5 turnovers per game through the first six games of this season. That must improve going into this game. On the road, if you turn the ball over it leads to easy baskets on the other end. The Pirates will need to get off to a good start to silence the crowd and build momentum. If they give GW extra opportunities, they will struggled to get a win in DC.
