Seton Hall picked up their second win in a row over the Saint Peter's Peacocks Sunday afternoon to the tune of 72-46. The win pushes the Pirates to 8-2 on the year and a date with the Wichita State Shockers looming this coming Saturday.
The Pirates held their opponents from Jersey City to a field goal percentage of just 32.7 percent on the afternoon. Seton Hall shot 50.0 percent from the field and 52.6 percent from the 3-point line. The only area of weakness came at the free throw line where they shot 40.0 percent.
Khadeen Carrington led with 14 points scored on the afternoon. Isaiah Whitehead had 12, and Angel Delgado had another double-double, posting 10 points and grabbing 10 rebounds.
Despite their successes Seton Hall was actually out-rebounded by the Peacocks. Saint Peter's led in the rebounding margin 37-34, 24-23 defensively and 13-11 offensively. That said, The Hall dominated in the paint 36-28 and led almost wire-to-wire.
