Saint Peter's vs. Seton Hall halftime notes

Brad Mills-USA TODAY Sports

~ Despite a cold spell midway through the first half, Seton Hall is up big on Saint Peter's at the moment. And although they walked into the half with a scoring drought lasting 3:27, they silenced that with a pair of free throws by Michael Nzei. As a result, Seton Hall leads 35-20 at the end of the first 20 minutes of action.

~ Desi Rodriguez's hot streak has continued on Sunday afternoon. Rodriguez has scored a game-high nine points in just 11 minutes of action. He was nothing if not efficient, shooting 60.0 percent from the field and 100 percent from the 3-point line, making both of his 3-point attempts.

~ Khadeen Carrington picked up eight points in the first half with a similar line to Rodriguez's. The only difference? A free throw by Rodriguez.

~ Angel Delgado's stout rebounding ways have continued as he's grabbed four in the first half. Ismael Sanogo has four boards as well.

~ As a whole, Seton Hall is shooting 48.1 percent from the field and 66.7 percent from the 3-point line. The only area of weakness thus far has been the free throw line where they're shooting a dismal 42.7 percent on seven attempts.

~ Seton Hall's scored 1.061 points per possession while their opponent has scored just 0.606.
