~ Georgetown dipped into a 6-0 hole to start the game but has rolled over the Seahawks and lead 38-28 at the break.

~ The Hoyas are led by their bigtime senior guard D'Vauntes Smith-Rivera. DSR has 15 points at the half, leading all scorers on both sides. The Indianapolis native shot 4-for-6 from the field and 5-for-7 from the free throw line. He was aggressive in getting to the line seven times int he first half compared to his peers, as no other player on either side has more than four free throw attempts thus far.

~ Bradley Hayes and freshman Marcus Derrickson each had six points in the first half and shot a combined 5-for-8. Hayes has five rebounds and a block, while Derrickson has two rebounds, two steals, and one assist.

~ Leading the way for UNCW is Chris Flemmings, whom we profiled in our preview. Flemmings has six points for the Seahawks and is a perfect 4-for-4 from the free throw line.
