Bryant vs. Georgetown: Halftime Notes

The Hoyas struggled a tad, but pulled away late.

Anthony Gruppuso-USA TODAY Sports

~ Georgetown played closely with Bryant for much of the first half but engineered a run late to go up 40-26 into the break.

~ L.J. Peak is currently leading all Hoya scorers with 13 points. Isaac Copeland has eight, Marcus Derrickson has six, and D'Vauntes Smith-Rivera has seven.

~ Derrickson has six rebounds to complement those six points as well.

~ On the whole, Georgetown is shooting 46.7 percent from the field. They will need to see improvement from the perimeter as the top team in the conference in 3-point shooting is just 3-for-11 from long range.

~ The Hoyas do however lead in the rebounding department 20-16. They have taken care of the basketball as well, committing just four turnovers in the first half while Bryant has committed seven.

Enjoy the second half!
