Xavier vs. USC, 2015 Advocare Invitational: Halftime Notes

It's all Xavier in the first half in Orlando.

~ Well that was some half of basketball huh? Xavier is up 27 on the USC Trojans to the tune of 54-27. The Musketeers ended the half making their last six of seven field goal attempts, while Southern Cal shot just 1-for-6 and 2-for-8 to end the half.

~ Leading for Xavier at the half is Trevon Bluiett. The sophomore Indianapolis native has 11 points and shot 4-for-6 and 3-for-4 from the 3-point line. In 13 minutes, Bluiett grabbed three boards, had an assist and just one turnover.

~ All 11 players that stepped onto the floor for the Musketeers in the first 20 minutes scored at least one point. Seven of them had at least five points, and three had at least six.

~ The Musketeers shot 57.6 percent from the field, 46.2 percent from the 3-point line and 71.4 percent from the free throw line. X's eFG% at the half? 66.7 percent.

~ X is controlling in all aspects, leading in total rebounds, defensive rebounds, offensive rebounds, bench points, second chance points, fast break points, points in the paint, blocks, steals, assists, and points off turnovers.

~ The lead only changed twice, and X held it for 18:52.
