3-Point Preview
1. DePaul looks to snap the streak
The Blue Demons currently find themselves on a three game losing streak, and the flight back to Chicago would certainly be much more upbeat with a victory. This is the first time DePaul and Norfolk State have ever faced off, and the Demons are 2-2 all time against current MEAC members.
Sidenote: DePaul coach Dave Leitao was an assistant on the Missouri Tigers team that was upset by Norfolk State in the 2012 NCAA Tournament.
2. Slowing down Jeff Short
Norfolk's leading scorer so far this season is Jeff Short. Short, a Fordham transfer, was a First Team All-MEAC honoree last season, his first with Norfolk. Short averaged 19.4 PPG last year, and so far is at 15.0 PPG this year. The Blue Demons will have to contain short if they want to defeat the Spartans.
3. Tommy Hamilton's status
After starting the first three games of the season for DePaul, junior forward Tommy Hamilton didn't play in Saturday's loss to Florida State.

Will Hamilton play Monday? Will there be a further explanation? Both remain to be seen. DePaul was certainly a different team in Hamilton's absence, though.
