Georgetown vs. Duke, 2015 2K Sports Classic: Halftime Notes

It's been a fun first half in The Big Apple.

~ That was a fun half, eh? The Hoyas lead the Blue Devils 47-4042after the first 20 minutes and both teams are shooting lights out. Georgetown is shooting a crisp 57.1 percent from the field with a 90.9 percent mark complementing them from the free throw line. Duke, meanwhile, has a 50 percent mark from the field and 78.6 percent from the free throw line.

~ Isaac Copeland is picking up from where he left off against Wisconsin. After dropping 15 points against the Badgers, Copeland has scored 15 again - in the first half. He's knocked down 5-of-7 field goal attempts and is 4-for-5 from the free throw line, adding three rebounds and a steal to his line.

~ Freshman Kaleb Johnson has contributed well also. Including a halftime buzzer beater, Copeland has eight points and made both of his field goal attempts in the first half.

~ DSR and L.J. Peak have combined to score 15 points, with Smith-Rivera scoring nine while Peak has six.

~ Leading the way for Duke is guard Grayson Allen who scored 16 points with a 5-for-7 mark from the field like Isaac Copeland. Derryck Thornton has eight, Matt Jones has five, and everyone but Marshall Plumlee scored at least two points in the first half.

~ Georgetown is out-rebounding Duke 15-14 and out-assisting 9-4. The Blue Devils lead in the turnover margin by just one (7-6).
