UTSA @ Creighton: Halftime Notes

Creighton leads the Roadrunners 61-37. Eesh.

- Creighton's dribble drive is met with 5 UTSA guys who just can't give a gosh darn.

- Khyri Thomas's defense is really good.

- Omaha Central product and current UTSA guard Nick Billingsley was ejected in the first half for a flagrant 2 foul on Isaiah Zierden. At least he'll get to spend more time with his family or something. Mo Watson received a taunting foul during the whole ordeal, presumably for saying something in defense of the defenseless Zierden.

- Malik Albert got some really good minutes in the latter half of the first half. He seems to run the offense a bit differently than Maurice Watson. He seems to pick up tempo a little easier and has a good ability to find open shooters. This is good news for the Bluejays.

- Creighton's defense started to lag a bit after the Billingley ejection, but made a good push in the final 4 minutes.

- Have you seen 'Master of None' on Netflix yet? It's really good.

- UTSA's defense is... not great.

- Cole Huff leads all scorers with 15 points on 5-6 shooting. Isaiah Zierden had 12 points on 4-9 shooting along with 3 steals. Maurice Watson did not come back in after his technical foul.

- Khyri Thomas had a phenomenal dunk. Guess what? His defense is still impeccable. He's really good.

- I've been informed that, yes, Creighton has tied a CLink Center for points in a half.
