Class of 2016 power forward Algevon Eichelberger (Saginaw, Michigan) has committed to DePaul University.
Eichelberger, a three-star recruit via 247Sports Composite Rankings, is the fifth-best prospect in the state of Michigan in the Class of 2016, with the likes of Josh Jackson (undeclared), Cassius Winston (Michigan State commit), Austin Davis (Michigan commit), Devon Daniels (Utah commit) in front of him, putting him in lofty company.
The Michigan native announced the move on his Twitter account Tuesday afternoon.

The 6-foot-6, 210-pound power forward from Saginaw High School had offers from Detroit, Nicholls State and Northern Illinois among others but has decided to declare his intentions to attend the Chicago, Illinois-based BIG EAST Conference representative.
Algevon Eichelberger is head coach Dave Leitao's second member of the Class of 2016. Eichelberger joins Chicago, Illinois native Devin Gage, a 6-foot-2 point guard from Curie High School and the Team Rose AAU squad.
