Ty-Shon Alexander (Concord, North Carolina) has committed to Creighton University.
Alexander, ranked as the No. 1 recruit in the state of North Carolina by ESPN's recruiting services, has decided to choose CU as his destination when he heads to college in the year 2017. The 6-foot-3, 175-pound shooting guard has elected Creighton over the likes of Charlotte, Clemson, Virginia Tech and others.
Currently, Alexander attends the famed Oak Hill Academy which has housed Carmelo Anthony among others over the years. He is the first commit for Greg McDermott in the 2017 class thus far.
Congrats to Alexnader on his decision, and best of luck to him in the future.
