Devon Daniels commits to Utah over DePaul

The Utes beat out the Blue Demons for a coveted recruit from Michigan, who currently is located in California.

Class of 2016 shooting guard Devon Daniels (Kalamazoo, MI) has committed to The University of Utah.

The Utes get their second commit of the 2016 class in the form of Daniels, a 6-foot-6 guard currently attending Prolific Prep Academy in Napa, California. Daniels had been given chase by Utah as well as DePaul towards the end of the recruiting race, but Daniels has decided to select the Pac-12 representative in Salt Lake City, Utah.

Daniels joins four-star center Jayce Johnson (Santa Monica, CA) in Larry Krystkowiak's 2016 recruiting class.

Best of luck to Daniels in his collegiate career as a Ute.
