The Numbers

Villanova comes into Saturday's matinee ranked No. 6 in the nation in the latest polls and won their first Big East matchup on New Year's Eve over Butler, and the Seton Hall Pirates dethroned No. 15 St. John's earlier in the day.

Is Seton Hall For Real?

The Pirates are off to an 11-2 start in Kevin Willard's fifth season at the helm, and he has one of the more talented freshman classes in the entire conference, even without star Isaiah Whitehead for a couple weeks. Seton Hall took care of business at home against the Red Storm earlier in the week and has a legitimate chance to knock the Wildcats from the ranks of the unbeatens if they play the way they did on Wednesday.

The Wildcats have won 8 of the last 10 meetings between the two teams, but they have split the last four with Seton Hall. The most telling number in the last 10 games could be that Seton Hall has not won at home in that stretch.

Will Gibbs & Co. shock the nation and take down the Wildcats? Or will Villanova send a message, telling non-believers to believe the hype?
