Steven Branscombe-USA TODAY Sports

After one half of play in Omaha, here's what's gone down:

  • Toby Hegner leads all Bluejay scorers with 12 points, while D'Angelo Harrison and Sir'Dominic Pointer lead the Red Storm with five.
  • St. John's is outrebounding Creighton 20-17, and 4-0 on the offensive glass. Creighton holds a 17-16 edge on the defensive side, however.
  • Creighton has 17 bench points to St. John's seven, and 10 assists to the Red Storm's eight.
  • St. John's ended the first half going 1-for-5 on their last five field goal attempts. Creighton, meanwhile, hit on 5-of-7.
