- Andrew Chrabascz has been huge for the Bulldogs: 15 points on 7-8 shooting. It's a nice sign for the Bulldogs when someone other than Kellen Dunham or Roosevelt Jones can get it going offensively
- Butler surged out to an early lead, then seemed to pump the brakes a bit, having an eight minute stretch where they hit only one field goal. As a result, Seton Hall went on a 13-5 run to end the half.
- The Bulldogs also can't hit a free throw today. 4-13. This game would be a bit more opened up if they could hit a few shots from the stripe.
- Khadeen Carrington and Sterling Gibbs combined for 50 of Seton Hall's 75 points the last time these teams squared off. Today they have only nine between them.
