Providence Friars guard Kris Dunn and Seton Hall Pirates forward Angel Delgado were named Big East Player and Rookie of the Week by the conference on Monday.

Dunn was an integral reason as to why the Friars were able to take down both the Butler Bulldogs and Georgetown Hoyas last week as PC enjoyed a 2-0 stretch. The 6-foot-3 guard recorded an average of 20.5 points, 5.5 rebounds, and 7.5 assists in the two meetings, including a 25 point, eight rebound and six assist outing versus the Bulldogs at Hinkle Fieldhouse last Tuesday.

Delgado, meanwhile, enjoyed a high level of success last week as well. In Seton Hall's win over the Creighton Bluejays, which was helped by the theatrics of Sterling Gibbs, the 6-foot-9 freshman scored seven points and added nine rebounds, two steals and a block to his line. Earlier in the week, Delgado dropped 12 points, six rebounds and two assists with no turnovers in a loss to the Xavier Musketeers.
