Although the Georgetown Hoyas have a good team, they will most likely fall on some hard times this season, as most teams do. And so, here are three reasons for pessimism for the boys on The Hilltop.

Will they be able to shine against top teams?

To say that Georgetown was inconsistent last season might be an insult to the word. Many times in the 2013-14 season, Georgetown should have come away with more victories than they should have. And going into this year, Georgetown has to fix that, and also be able to perform against the top teams in the conference. Namely, Villanova Wildcats stand out as a force to be reckoned with, as they are loaded with talent despite the loss of James Bell. It will be interesting to see how things pan out, but the big time matchups should be in focus.

How will L.J. Peak be used?

L.J. Peak does not fit the typical Georgetown system. I was watching film on Georgetown, and if you really watched them, the offense was really free-flowing, and barely had any offensive sets, and as head coach John Thompson III told Big East Coast Bias, the team does not have positions. Because of this, expect Peak will be used in a variety of ways, but will he be effective? That's the question. It is all about whether or not he will be able to take advantage of the matchups, as he possesses the speed of getting passed anybody on the floor.

Will Jabril Trawick become a leader?

With the loss of a few seniors last season, no defined leader is currently on the Hoyas. But, one player who could emerge has been on this team for a while. That man is Jabril Trawick. Trawick will look to step up to the plate and lead this team to a lot of wins this season, as perhaps the most seasoned player on the roster. Whether he is the single leader on the team, or is joined up with someone else, leadership is a big priority for the Hoyas this coming year. And as of now, it's absent.
