Providence recruiting: Jared Reuter cuts his list to five

Providence made Reuter's cut for the schools he will take official visits to.

Class of 2015 power forward Jared Reuter has cut his list to down five schools. His AAU team, NE Playaz, tweeted out the list and it includes the South Carolina Gamecocks, Virginia Cavaliers, Iowa Hawkeyes, Rhode Island Rams and the Providence Friars.

Providence made the cut, and that is good because they are targeting some high-caliber players and Reuter is one of them. The Friars could very well have one of the best recruiting classes in 2015 if they get a player of Reuter's caliber, and also Donovan Mitchell among others.

Reuter has a good body and will bully other people smaller than him when he is in the paint. He has an inside out game, can score well around the rim and has an soft touch, and has drawn comparisons to former North Carolina Tar Heels forward Tyler Hansbrough. The one thing that I see when I watch him is that he has good motor and plays with terrific energy. Lately, he has been trying to work on his jump hook shot and also extending his range outside of the paint.
