The Creighton Bluejays sent an offer to Class of 2016 small forward Sam Hauser, according to Big East Coast Bias recruiting insider Harrison Malkin. Mark Miller of WisSports.net also reported this news first.
Hauser, listed at 6-foot-4 and 175 lbs., is a rising junior at Stevens Point Area Senior High School in Stevens Point, Wisconsin. He has also fielded offers from the Drake Bulldogs, Northern Iowa Panthers, Toledo Rockets, UW-Green Bay Phoenix, and fellow Big East Conference member, the Marquette Golden Eagles.
The Golden Eagles currently are "in the lead" to snag 6-foot-4 small forward, with 247sports' Crystal Ball Prediction currently at 100% for Marquette. That said, it is still very early in the race for recruits, so the possibility that something changes is still there.
This news comes after news broke on Thursday that the Bluejays offered fellow member of the 2016 class, Omari Spellman, a power forward from North Royalton, Ohio and a member of Team Scan (NY).
