A day after his visit to The Hilltop, the Georgetown Hoyas sent an offer to Class of 2015 recruit Haanif Cheatham.
Cheatham, a guard who plays for Nike Team Florida, is a player who has been noted to finish around the rim and shoot the ball well.
A source told Big East Coast Bias that the visit to the Washington, D.C.-area school went very well. Georgetown has been a heavy hitter thus far Class of 2015, targeting several of the class' biggest names. When I talked to Cheatham at the third session of EYBL in Hampton, Virginia, he said that the Hoyas started showing interest in him and that he has a base knowledge of the school.
It's certainly possible that the names Georgetown is beginning to corral is making an impact on the recruiting trail.
Cheatham will be at the Kevin Durant Camp in Washington, D.C., and I will have more on what he thinks about the offer this weekend. The Hoyas are simply doing an amazing job with the amount of talent they could possibly bring in for the Class of 2015. Their depth could become a huge asset if this pans out well, and a force to be reckoned with in the Big East Conference.
