NC State PG Tyler Lewis Likely to Transfer to Butler

Averaged 4.4 points and 3.8 assists last season.

Jerry Meyer, Director of Basketball Scouting for 247Sports, sees the Butler Bulldogs as the likely destination for former NC State point guard Tyler Lewis. Lewis would have to sit out a season, but would become the Bulldogs' presumptive starter at the point once Alex Barlow graduates. Lewis was a four-star recruit out of Oak Hill Academy but never got comfortable in the Wolfpack rotation.

Lewis is a pass-first point guard and finished with the best assist rate in the ACC last season while playing 19.9 minutes per game.
