Daniel Ochefu's strong second half helped the Villanova Wildcats stay perfect in their 73-59 win over the Illinois Fighting Illini. At the Jimmy V Classic in Madison Square Garden the Wildcats survived a tight game in which they turned the ball over an uncharacteristic 16 times.
Dylan Ennis led the way woth 18 points and five rebounds and Daniel Ochefu chipped in with 12 points and seven rebounds. Ochefu played with an inspired energy over the last five minutes and Ennis helped eatablish a lead the Wildcats would not relinquish with 2 consecutive threes.
