As a result, the Red Storm leaped into the Top 25 rankings this week.

Seton Hall Pirates freshman Isaiah Whitehead was tabbed as the Big East's Rookie of the Week. The 6-foot-4 freshman exploded for 25 points against in-state rival Rutgers in the inaugural Garden State Hardwood Classic in Newark, New Jersey on Saturday. He averaged 18.5 points and 3.5 assists in his two games last week, the other coming against Mount St. Mary's. Whitehead shot a combined 59.1 percent in these two outings.
