Wisconsin vs. Marquette: Game time, TV schedule, Live radio stream, Odds and more

No. 2 Wisconsin (7-1) heads to Milwaukee to take on Marquette (4-3) for its first road game of the season.

Mary Langenfeld-USA TODAY Sports

The Golden Eagles host the No. 2 Badgers Saturday in a battle for in-state supremacy.  Wisconsin enters the game coming off a rare home loss to No. 4 Duke, and will look to bounce back versus its in-state rival.  Marquette is coming off a third place finish in the Orlando Classic, with wins over Georgia Tech and Tennessee.  With a Golden Eagles loss to the Badgers they would drop to 0-3 versus the Big Ten this season, after already losing to Ohio State and Michigan State.

Wisconsin and Marquette have played each other every year since the turn of the century and have split the last ten matchups 5-5.  In that span, Marquette has held the edge at home going 3-2, but only once in those five games did an unranked Marquette team face a Top 25 Wisconsin squad.  Marquette defeated No. 24 Wisconsin 63-54 in the 2004-2005 season.  No. 2 may present a greater challenge than No. 24, but nonetheless Marquette has continued to prove it can compete with the Badgers.
