The Stakes

Creighton is looking to rebound off of a tough loss to North Texas of Conference USA. The Bluejays have won their last two conference openers, three of their last four, and 12 of their last 16.

Providence, meanwhile, is looking to win their first conference opener since 2008 when they defeated St. John's on New Year's Eve 75-54 at the Dunkin Donuts Center. Kris Dunn has been a huge factor over the last six games as he's averaged 18.0 points, 5.8 rebounds, 7.3 assists and 3.8 steals in the Friars' last six matchups. We'll see if he can keep up his high caliber performances as we get set to ring in 2015.
