St. John's vs. Seton Hall: Halftime Notes

So far, the first game of the Big East New Year's Marathon has been a good one. Seton Hall and St. John's have given us a great half of back and forth basketball. Here's a couple notes on each team.

Seton Hall

Leading scorer: Sterling Gibbs: 13 points, 4-7 FG

Leading rebounder: Angel Delgado: 5

Near the end of the half Seton Hall took their biggest lead of the game after Jaren Sina hit a three pointer, which was followed by a Sterling Gibbs three-pointer. They closed the half on an 8-0 run

St. John's

Leading scorer: D'Angelo Harrison: 15 points, 6-9 FG. He's been pretty much unstoppable

Leading rebounder: Jamal Branch: 5

Five different St. John's players have at least two fouls.
