Belmont vs. Butler: Halftime Notes

After a seesaw first half, the Bulldogs go into the locker room with a one point lead.

Marc Lebryk-USA TODAY Sports

  • Belmont, at one point, led by 11 points before the Bulldogs came storming back to take a lead into the break
  • That lead being chopped down is thanks to Butler's two leaders -- Roosevelt Jones and Kellen Dunham. Jones had 11 points and three boards in the half, while Dunham had 12 points on 3-4 shooting from beyond the arc.
  • KAMERON WOODS DOUBLE-DOUBLE WATCH: six points, four rebounds. Might be the first time this season he's had more points than rebounds at the half
  • Belmont's Craig Bradshaw has done it all for the Bruins, as he usually does. Eight points, four rebounds, three assists, and two steals. He's like a poor man's Gordon Heyward.
