The Seton Hall Pirates used a huge run in the first half to jump out to a 36-16 lead at the break.
After going down 5-0 at the 18:26 mark, the Pirates cruised to a 21-5 run for the next 10 minutes. The Hall's successes can be attributed to the likes of Angel Delgado and Sterling Gibbs who each have 10 points at the end of the first half. They've been nothing if not efficient, combining to shoot 9-for-14 from the field thus far.
As a team, Seton Hall is shooting a crisp 50 percent on 32 field goal attempts. They have yet to hit a free throw in the game -- though they have just two attempts -- and are shooting a dismal 30.8 percent from the perimeter. So far, it hasn't come back to bite them.
Maine has just not gotten it together after jumping out to the early lead. The Black Bears have converted on just seven of their 27 field goal attempts and are shooting 2-for-10 from downtown. They too haven't hit a free throw, but they have only gotten one attempt after 20 minutes.
Seton Hall is edging out Maine in the rebounding department 22-17 and have forced 13 turnovers whilst committing just six at the break.
Enjoy the second half!
