Maybe cutting the walking albatross Josh Smith was exactly what the Pistons, and Greg Monroe, needed. Monroe went off for 19 points and 15 rebounds in Detroit's first game since they decided to walk away from Smith and his monstrous contract. Monroe and center Andre Drummond were aggressive inside, giving the Pistons a 119-109 win over the Pacers and ending a four-game losing streak.
