The Stakes

Georgetown will look to avoid a fourth loss in the nonconference slate of their schedule as two games remain until their New Year's Eve matchup with Xavier.

Villanova looks to avenge a devastating loss to Syracuse last year. After leading 25-10 through the first 10 minutes, they would be outscored 68-37 the rest of the way, and 42-18 over the ensuing 20 minutes.

Providence is looking to rebound off of a 3-game losing streak, and make a 3-game winning streak out of it after defeating Rhode Island and Stony Brook in their last two games.

The Butler Bulldogs look to remain unbeaten in Crossroads Classics matchups. The last time the Bulldogs met the Indiana Hoosiers in this epic series in The State of Basketball, the 'Dawgs shocked the then No. 1 Hoosiers in a thriller.

Xavier travels down to Alabama to battle Auburn after netting their first true road game of the season last weekend against fellow SEC member Missouri. They could go 3-for-3 against the SEC this year, with a win over Alabama two weeks ago under their belt.
