Creighton Bluejays forward Avery Dingman and transfer guard Maurice Watson from Boston University both have suffered injuries that will keep them on the sidelines for a minimum of two weeks.
According to Steve Pivovar of the Omaha World-Herald, Dingman suffered a Grade 2 ankle sprain that will keep him out of action for two weeks, meaning he will miss the Bluejays' season opener next week against Central Arkansas.

The senior guard was projected to be in the starting lineup but will now likely be replaced by California transfer Ricky Kreklow.
Watson, meanwhile, was set to sit out the year after transferring from BU over the summer. He suffered the more serious injury of the two, breaking his fifth metatarsal in his right foot. Per Steve Pivovar, he's out for 6-8 weeks. This will likely provide a hinderance in practice as he was involved for most of the summer and early fall.
