  • So far this season, highly touted freshman Isaiah Whitehead has gone through a bit of an adjustment period. Today has been the best he's looked to start a game all year. Whitehead has eight points, three rebounds, and five assists, on 4-7 shooting in the first half. He will need to continue to play at this level if the Pirates want to hang onto this lead
  • The Pirates have gotten beat handily on the glass so far in this game, losing the rebounding battle by as margin of 17-11. With a game this close, the rebounding margin is likely the only reason Seton Hall's lead is not larger.
  • The turnover margin, on the other hand, is very much in Seton Hall's favor. GWU has 12 turnovers to the Pirates' six.
  • George Washington's Kethan Savage leads all players with 12 points on 4-5 shooting.
